Writer of fantasy. Lover of language. Builder of worlds. Learner of history. Hugger of cats.
About the Author
(TL;DR: BLE is pretty neat. But not as neat as his cat.)
Byron López Ellington is a fifteen-year-old writer and aspiring author who worships his cat Emma, pictured below.
He attends Austin Community College, taking college-level courses in place of regular high school. If given the option, however, to study at Hogwarts instead, he would certainly be sorted into Ravenclaw House.
Byron loves to write and has been doing so since as soon as he physically could. His other hobbies include casual video gaming, watching YouTube videos (of the meme and intellectual/philosophical varieties), conlanging, the occasional drawing, watching and discussing Avatar: the Last Airbender, and hanging out with his many little cousins (and cat, of course).
He speaks two languages: English, his mother tongue; and Spanish, his mother's family's traditional language (in which he is not quite fluent yet).
If you were to ask Byron's characters what they thought of him (given that I, the narrator*, had granted them the ability to break the fourth wall), they'd probably say they hated him, considering he's the one killing all their parents and making them generally suffer.
Byron's current WIPs are Legends of the Old Fire, book one: The Slipping of the Veil, LOF book two: Knotstone, and The Backpack Dimension (working title).
Have a great day/night/whenever!
(PS - for those who don't know these modern internet abbreviations, "TL;DR" stands for "too long; didn't read" and "WIP" stands for "work-in-progress.") *Yes, I, the writer of this bio, am indeed the same narrator as the one in Byron's stories.
